On a charming small lane named for Wojciech Brzega, famous sculptor of Podhale, we built a beautiful log house in the Highlander style, but featuring modern, 21st century comfort. The steep roofs of the house are seen in this quiet and picturesque spot of Skibowki neighborhood.

Legend says that the Spirit of High Tatras was once found on the doorstep, frozen and homeless. Invited to the warm indoors it lived in the house and protected it and its guests. Now the house is named "The Spirit of High Tatras" Lodge, even though its patron long since retuned to his sky high mountain peaks. The Spirit's presence is still felt - the beauty of surrounding nature, the sound of birds in their nests under the eaves. Guests value the tranquil atmosphere, admire views of towering Giewont Mountain, but above all enjoy the comfort and stylish décor of the interior.

Nearby, the forest stands silhouetted against the dark line of a mountain chain, just a step away from Strazyska Valley; and a walk path Pod Reglami leads you to Krupówki street, the center of town.

A block away is the Koscieliska Street, famous for its ancient wooden houses and the historic Old Church with its ancient cemetery "Pęksowy Brzyzek".

In summer, trails lead you to many a lovely spot in the mountains and the valleys. In winter a T-bar lift serves a ski slope just behind the house . Each season offers the visitors entertainment, cultural and sport events, concerts and always the unique traditional food.
